Do not be Angry

It’s a new week! Monday morning!

If we want to make the best speech that we will ever regret, then let’s speak when we are angry.

When we are angry, we usually want to work things out or look for solutions to our problems. Yet, this rarely works. Because as Albert Einstein once said, “The significant problems we face can not be solved at the same level of thinking we are at when we created them.”

Let’s postpone dealing with what angered us today, till tomorrow. If we refuse to bear a moment of anger with silence, then we will have to bear a lifetime of regret with heartache.

A Chinese proverb says that, ‘If you are patient in a moment of anger, you will escape a hundred days of sorrow.

” The fence will never be the same. When you say things in anger, they leave a scar…a big one…depending on the things you said. It won’t matter how many times you say i’m sorry, the wound is still there. A verbal wound is as bad as a physical one.

I chose to talk about this today because I know that a lot of us are going through a whole lot of mental health issues….it is not easy to contain it sometimes… Our relationships (Work, Home, Self even God) are suffering….

Remember not only to say the right thing in the right place, but far more difficult still, to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.
– Benjamin Franklin

So, please TRY NOT TO LOSE IT! STAY CALM… Keep it golden…keep it silent. Filè bè! Ko ma a lò bè!
