It’s a beautiful afternoon where I am! I am your FINDING PURPOSE addict – Salmah Adetutu Lawal
People who live a life of purpose put their heart into their career and into building relationships with friends and family. They also reserve adequate time to satisfy their personal needs thereby achieving a balance and living up to their potential in all facets of life. They identify those activities that matter most to them and spend the majority of their time and effort in those areas.
Living a purposeful life on the other hand, is one of the most effortless but enjoyable experiences which you can enjoy in life. When you are living purposefully, life just flows. Like flowing water, you effortlessly adapt to any obstacle which is placed in your path. You carve out your own path for life as you pass peacefully through. Your resolve is to be happy.
My own belief system says that I am here to worship the Almighty God but I cannot do this in Isolation. Worship can be through giving or serving, not nothingness or isolation. Hence, I must worship Him while identifying my life’s PURPOSE.
A lot of people do not have this defined; they just exist….they are not happy where they are but choose (yes, it’s a choice) not to do anything about it…and eventually die without achieving PURPOSE. If you do not know where you are going, any where will take you there – where is there?
Although everyone is different, there are common threads that bind a life with purpose.
So, ask yourself, are you living a “life of purpose” or a “Purposeful life”? Tell me…
